The ACES Minor features a 16-credit customizable curriculum that includes experiential learning.  ACES Minor courses can be applied to completing your CS Upper Lever Concetration. They can also be applied retroactively, so if you have taken ACES courses in the past, reach out and they can be counted.

For the Upper Level concentration, you must take 3 HACS408 Seminars (9 credits) and 1 HACS479 or HACS498 Experiential Learning (3 credits) to finish the required 12 credits of 300-400 level courses.  For more information about the ACES Minor curriculum, visit the curriculum page

Reach out to us at aces@umd.edu if you are interested in joining the Minor or using your current enrollment in the Minor as the Upper Level concentration.
