At the beginning of each academic year, students are able to apply to CyberConnect. Students are then matched with a mentor based on career interests and goals. Every year, pairings are given the chance to meet through both ACES staff-organized events and student/mentor-initiated meetings. In between the in-person meetings, the mentoring groups regularly communicate via phone, email, or Skype to discuss progress on goals and the field of cybersecurity. The goal of these mentor-student pairings is to give students the opportunity to develop stronger networks, enhance cybersecurity knowledge, and learn about the state of the field.

50% of the ACES community regularly participates in the CyberConnect program. Sign-Ups for CyberConnect open annually in August. ACES Students will receive information with a link to the application via email toward the begining of the fall semester.
