At the beginning of each academic year, students are able to apply to CyberConnect. Students are then matched with a mentor based on career interests and goals. Every year, pairings are given the chance to meet through both ACES staff-organized events and student/mentor-initiated meetings. In between the in-person meetings, the mentoring groups regularly communicate via phone, email, or Skype to discuss progress on goals and the field of cybersecurity. The goal of these mentor-student pairings is to give students the opportunity to develop stronger networks, enhance cybersecurity knowledge, and learn about the state of the field.
CyberConnect
Through CyberConnect, ACES LLP and Minor Students are matched with cybersecurity professionals to explore the cybersecurity field, build professional relationships, and learn from others who were once in their shoes.
