ACES Partners

Partner with ACES

The Advanced Cybersecurity Experience for Students (ACES) is a unique, multidisciplinary program for exceptional undergraduate honors students of all majors. ACES students are guided to become leaders in the field of cybersecurity through experiential learning, group projects, research and internship opportunities, and a broad focus on the emerging discipline of cybersecurity.

The Maryland Cybersecurity Center (MC2) is an academic center on the University of Maryland campus that brings together faculty, researchers, and students working in the field of cybersecurity from several schools and departments across campus. MC2 offers innovative, hands-on educational programs to pre-college students, undergraduates, and graduate students at both the Masters and PhD levels.

Located at the intersection of public and private industry, and in close proximity to the nation’s capital, the University of Maryland is an ideal location for technology development and partnerships in the cybersecurity field. The Cyber Partners Program provides an opportunity to establish mutually beneficial, strategic relationships between your company and University of Maryland students, faculty, and researchers through MC2 and ACES.

As a Cyber Partner, your company will be recognized throughout the year, and will gain brand awareness and recognition by students, faculty, and the broader community of your commitment to cybersecurity education and research at the University of Maryland. The Cyber Partners Program allows our team to develop a customized engagement plan with your company that can include annual recruitment events, facilitated introductions to faculty and researchers, invitations to conferences, seminars, research presentations, and other special events, and more.

Each corporate partnership is unique and we work with our partners to determine an engagement plan that will best meet your short- and long-term strategic goals. We have multiple levels of partnership to help meet your company’s desire and ability to be involved with MC2 and ACES. A three-year commitment is encouraged to ensure sustained, productive contact between students, the Cyber Partners, and MC2 and ACES.
