If you are interested in joining our program, indicate your preference for ACES on your Honors College Preference Form. This form  tells the Honors College which living-learning programs interest you most! For best consideration, complete and submit the preference form in your Coalition account by February 17, 2020. 

In order to join ACES, you must confirm your enrollmentWhen you confirm your enrollment to the University of Maryland by May 1, 2020 you will be automatically confirmed for enrollment in ACES. 

All ACES students are required to live in Prince Frederick Hall for their freshman and sophomore year. In order to confirm your place in Prince Frederick, you must apply for housing by May 1, 2020. Missing the May 1 deadline may impact your ability to secure on-campus housing.

Students should register for orientation with the Orientation Office. Students must attend a two-day orientation program in the summer to build their fall schedules. The Honors College invites newly admitted students to attend Honors Orientation, but students also have the option to attend a regular orientation. 

New Student Orientation for the Honors College is scheduled to take place June 15-16 and 25-26, 2020.

ACES will host Question and Answer sessions over the summer to give incoming students a chance to learn more about the program before arriving on campus. Follow us on social media, on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and check back here to keep up to date and get reminders about the Q&As.
