In order to join ACES, you must confirm your enrollmentWhen you confirm your enrollment to the University of Maryland by May 1, 2020 you will be automatically confirmed for enrollment in ACES. 

ACES students are highly encouraged to live in Prince Frederick Hall for their freshman and sophomore year. In order to confirm your place in Prince Frederick, you must apply for housing by May 1, 2020. Missing the May 1 deadline may impact your ability to secure on-campus housing.

During the months of January through May, ACES hosts a number of online chats. During these chats, ACES staff and students provide insight into ACES classes and community atmosphere while answering any questions prospective students may have.

 

New Student Orientation has moved online! Students should register for orientation with the Orientation Office. Students must attend an orientation program in the summer to build their fall schedules. The Honors College invites newly admitted students to attend Honors Orientation, but students also have the option to attend a regular orientation. Honors Orientation is scheduled for June 15-16, June 25-26, and July 15-16

Orientation synchronous sessions for ACES are 4:30pm-5:30pm on the following dates:

  •     June 15
  •     June 25
  •     July 15
